Regional Wellbeing & Connection Fund – Expressions of Interest Now Open
Wine Victoria is inviting Regional Wine Associations to apply for funding to design and deliver a locally led activity that brings their wine community together and supports wellbeing, connection and resilience.
It has been a challenging period for many people across Victoria's wine industry. At times like these, opportunities to come together, reconnect and spend time with others in the community can make a real difference.
Through the Regional Wellbeing & Connection Fund, regions can propose an activity that responds to the needs of their local wine community. This could be a BBQ, dinner, sporting day, social gathering, engaging speaker or something completely different.
The activities are intended to be inclusive, enjoyable and community-focused rather than clinical. The focus is simply on creating opportunities for people across our wine communities to get together, catch up and connect.
Successful Regional Wine Associations will be responsible for designing, organising and delivering their activity, with Wine Victoria providing funding to support its delivery.
Regional Wine Associations are invited to tell us:
- What you'd like to do
- Who the activity will bring together
- How it responds to the needs of your local wine community
- When and where you propose to hold it
- Your indicative budget.
The idea is simple: create an opportunity for your wine community to connect.
The Regional Wellbeing & Connection Fund has been made possible through funding secured by Wine Victoria from the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR) as part of a broader initiative supporting mental wellbeing and resilience in Victorian wine communities.
Submitting an Expression of Interest does not guarantee funding.
