EOI Open: 2025 Drink Victorian Industry Tasting
The Drink Victorian Tasting is a large-scale event designed to increase the presence of Victorian alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in hospitality and retail venues across the state. The event offers an opportunity for up to 290 Victorian producers to showcase their products to industry professionals, from head buyers to hospitality staff just starting their careers.
With year-on-year growth in industry attendance, the Tasting continues to be the centrepiece of the Drink Victorian program, offering a platform for the Victorian hospitality industry to discover and rediscover the best wines, beer, ciders, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks produced in Victoria. In 2024, the Tasting welcomed 1,000 attendees, and we look forward to growing this number in 2025.

The Tasting has consistently shown a significant return on investment, with projections indicating up to 7,000 business deals between producers and buyers in 2025. As the event enters its fourth year, Wine Victoria continues to work closely with Agriculture Victoria. To ensure the ongoing viability of this event, a co-contribution of $350 + GST per producer will be introduced in 2025.
Producer Selection Process
Submissions are open to all Victorian alcoholic drinks producers, including wine, beer, cider, spirits, bottled pre-mixed drinks, non-alcoholic, and low-alcohol drinks. The program will ensure a balanced representation of Victoria's drinks offering. A panel of representatives from the Drink Victorian Project Control Board and industry leaders will review the applications.
All applicants must have products available to fulfill orders starting in July and have the capacity to service ongoing sales to hospitality and retail industries. Selection will consider factors such as region, product variety, price point, company size, and membership in a drinks association.
