IWD2024 & Company Directors Course Bursary: Congratulations Sarah Crowe

Wine Victoria Bursary Company Directors Course Recipient

We are thrilled to announce the winner of the Wine Victoria Bursary Company Directors Course for a female working in the wine industry is Sarah Crowe, General Manager, Yarra Yering.

We had a huge amount of interest in the bursary and it is testament to the Victorian wine industry how strong the calibre of applications were.

“It’s a super initiative from Wine Victoria and I am very grateful to be the recipient of what is the first, but I hope not the last IWD Company Director Course Bursary to build diversity into our future. I currently sit on two wine industry Boards and have previously sat on others, and I had realised that this was now a significant part that I play in our industry. These roles and responsibilities are something I have no formal training in except for completing the Future Leaders of the Australian Wine Industry Course back in 2010. I had recently been looking into my options to complete the Company Directors Course because if I’m going to take a seat at the table, I would like to be effective in doing so”.
