On 8 October, Wine Victoria CEO Stephanie Duboudin participated in the Land and Fire Roundtable, which reviewed the consultation draft of the Code of Practice for bushfire management on public land. This forum was hosted by DEECA.

Industry Fire Forum with CFA & FFMVic

Bushfire and Planned Burn Taskforce Collaboration

From November to April, Wine Victoria, CFA, and FFMVic will collaborate through a bushfire and planned burn taskforce that meets regularly during this period to monitor activity and coordinate efforts on the ground.

In response to recent frost events in various regions, the AWRI has developed an e-Bulletin that outlines key factors to consider when deciding on the appropriate actions to take after a frost. The e-Bulletin also includes information on reducing the risk of frost damage and provides links to valuable frost management resources.

Wine Victoria is running a two-year export program across the UK, US, China, and Asia, supported by Global Victoria. If you are interested in keeping updated with the latest news and learning how you can get involved, you can learn more below or register here.

Wine Victoria will have a Victorian booth at Wine Paris in February 2025. If you would like your wine to be featured at the stand, please complete the EOI below.

A 50% subsidy will be available for all Victorian producers who purchase a booth or half booth in the Wine Australia pavilion at Vinexpo Asia in Singapore in 2025.

Export Incite has been appointed to deliver a Southeast and Northeast Asia Market Entry Program across Singapore, Vietnam, South Korea, and Japan. The Export Incite team hosted a market insights webinar to help wineries understand the unique nuances of each market. Commencing late 2024 and continuing throughout 2025, exporters will be invited to apply to participate in a Market Entry Program. Wine Victoria will offer a 50% subsidy to participating wineries. EOI closes October 11, 2024.

Wine Victoria has appointed Nimbility Asia to deliver the China Market Entry and Expansion program. On the 12th of September, Nimbility hosted a webinar providing valuable insights and intelligence into the Chinese market and strategies for market entry and expansion. Commencing late 2024 and continuing throughout 2025, the Nimbility team will be assisting wineries with route-to-market strategies through importer business matching events.

This series, consisting of 10 online workshops will be hosted by industry experts Brand Catalyser, and will offer Victorian Wineries a comprehensive understanding of the Chinese e-commerce and social media landscapes. If you missed the earlier sessions, please contact us for the recordings.

The theme of the day is "Investing in Women for the Betterment of Australian Wine."

EMDG program supports Australian SMEs in their export efforts. The grants help fund marketing and promotional activities that boost exports and deliver broader benefits to Australia. EMDG provides support for SMEs ready to export, those expanding within existing markets or entering new ones, and representative bodies.
