Wine Victoria Workplace Mental Health First Aider Accreditation Course

Wine Victoria is excited to share that we’ve secured a grant through Business Victoria to enhance mental wellbeing in business communities, directly benefiting our industry. With this initiative, we’re collaborating with Kate Meadows, Director of ‘Be More Mindful’, to offer the Blended Online Workplace Mental Health First Aid course. Designed for those overseeing winery teams, this course equips you to navigate mental health challenges in the workplace.

Amid ongoing regulatory shifts, including recent amendments to the Work Health and Safety Regulations, it’s crucial to stay updated. These regulations outline duty holders’ roles in identifying and managing psychological health and safety hazards. Organisations must continually assess approaches to handle psychosocial risks and prioritise mental health. Our commitment lies in providing practical resources and guidance to navigate evolving standards and foster mentally healthy workplaces.

This informative course covers identifying common mental health issues, providing initial aid, accessing professional help, and employing evidence-based action plans during crises.
