$3.8 Million Victorian Wine Export Program with Victorian Government

Wine Victoria announces the signing of a $3.8 million Victorian wine export program grant with the Victorian Government.

The program will be led and delivered by Wine Victoria, in partnership with Global Victoria as a funding and collaboration partner.

“With a myriad of challenges faced by the Victorian wine community at present, this investment from the Victorian Government couldn’t be more timely or welcome. This vital program will help support and empower our members to take Victorian wine to the world” – Dan Sims, Chair of Wine Victoria

The Victorian Wine Export Program 2023-25 objective is to support new and established Victorian wine exporters in entering and expanding in the US, UK, Asia and China through targeted international trade activity that amplifies Victoria’s wine credentials.

The program aligns with Wine Victoria’s policy objectives and the DJSIR Strategic Plan 2023-2027 – ‘Strengthen Victoria’s global connections’ which highlights the importance of supporting business productivity and growth through global engagement, helping Victorian businesses successfully trade into global markets.

“We are delighted to be delivering this export program over the next two years across the four focus markets. Since 2022 we have been delivering a US export program in collaboration with Global Victoria and the new grant enables Wine Victoria to continue to provide significant opportunities for new and existing exporters” – Stephanie Duboudin, Wine Victoria CEO.
