Winemakers’ Federation of Australia releases actions for industry profitability

The Winemakers' Federation of Australia (WFA) has released their final 43 actions to address profitability of Australian wine businesses with growth in both domestic and export markets.

The full report entitled "Actions for Industry Profitability 2014-2016" can be found in full herehere.

According to the WFA, the industry now has a blueprint for reform that will make a difference to wine businesses and is supported by the majority of the industry. WFA will now continue this significant body-of-work by working with members, industry and governments on implementing the actions.

Wine Victoria is pleased to see the recommendations from our submission have been taken on-board, particularly in relation to the Wine and Health agenda and the review of the Wine Equalisation Tax Rebate. We will continue to work with the WFA in relation to these items.
