Wine Victoria recently hosted a 'meet and greet' event at Treasury Wine Estates with the Minister for Agriculture the Hon. Jaala Pulford, the Wine Victoria Board and Regional Council, and regional winery representatives.

The event included a tasting of regional wines and a presentation to the Minister on key export opportunities for Victoria.

Minister Pulford provided guests with an overview of Victorian wine representation at international food and wine events from a recent trade visit to Asia.

'Wine Victoria is pleased that the Minister was able to attend our event and share her thoughts on key issues for the Victorian wine industry,' said Wine Victoria Chair Damien Sheehan. 'We look forward to hearing more as these issues progress, particularly the establishment of the Wine Ministerial Advisory Council.'
